​About the course creator and presenter

​Theresa Miller is a media and public speaking trainer. She's also a sought-after MC and panel host for corporate events. Theresa has 30 years’ experience in the media in Australia, Switzerland and the U.K. She’s a professional and dynamic media trainer, passionate about verbal and written communication. Theresa has coached hundreds of people across all industries in the art of presentation skills, mastering media interviews, public speaking and corporate writing.

​

As a television journalist, Theresa worked as a reporter, producer and presenter in Britain, Switzerland and Australia, including Sky News-UK, Good Morning Britain, CNN and the Zurich-based European Business Channel.

​

In Australia, she reported on-camera for Channels Seven, Nine, ABC and SBS-TV, including Channel Seven’s prime time Australia’s Most Wanted. Theresa also produced on Radio National for Life Matters.

​

During the 2000 Olympic Games, Theresa was a special media adviser to the Lord Mayor of Sydney.

​

Theresa is the author of two books, Making Babies – Personal IVF Stories and The Spin Doctor’s Wife. Her third book is due out in 2026 - Speak Up - How to be a confident presenter and media spokesperson.  

​

She has written for many publications, including The Australian, The Medical Republic and The New Daily and ghost-writes content for various corporations and organisations. She’s lectured in journalism at UNSW, Macleay College, Macquarie and Sydney University.
